Scottie Scheffler - In all 4 starts at the Masters he has finished inside the top 20. It’s a boring selection but if he putts well it’s hard to see him out of contention.
Hideki Matsuyama - A winner this year at the Genesis after a spell of 2 years without. A previous winner back in 2021 and he has finished in the Top 20 in 8 of his last 9 visits here.
Wyndham Clark - It may be his Masters debut but the US open champion is also a winner in 2024 and no reason to see a strong showing here.
Brooks Koepka - A mixed record with 2 Missed Cuts in his last 3 visits but had some impressive results prior to that and a Tied 2nd last year.
Xander Schauffele - Another player who has a reasonable record round here here with some Top 10 finishes. Arguably one of the best currently tour players not to have won a major championship.
Akshay Bhatia - A birdie making machine who’s only got an invite after winning the Valero Texas Open just. A left hander which is a slight advantage around Augusta, unlikely to be a winner but could put on a good showing.
